JOB DESCRIPTION

Education and qualifications:

Required:

  • Have a PhD degree in the field of biomedical research, and additional post-doctoral training in neuroimmunology. 
  • Written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to conduct independent research.

Experience and knowledge:

We require previous experience in:

  • Strong background in immunology and molecular biology.

  • Experience in studies with multiple sclerosis patients and in the animal model of the disease (experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis).

  • Experience in “omics” technologies. 

  • Experience in databases and statistical analysis.

  • Direction and participation in competitive research projects as principal investigator.

Main responsibilities and duties:

  • Biomarker studies in multiple sclerosis patients based on microRNAs and exosomes.

  • Manuscript and grant writing. 

  • Teaching and students supervision activities.

Labor conditions:

  • Full-time position (40h/week)

  • Starting date: April 2026

  • Length of the contract: 1 years 

  • Gross annual salary:  30.000 Euros
